Whangarei Prabhupadanuga's appeal to Devotees

Dear Devotees

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

My husband and myself have started preaching in a small town in Whangarei, population of about 70 0000. By the mercy of Guru and Gauranga, we have started a small preaching centre and a Food for Life centre.

Currently we provide a free lunch to two schools one day a week and we have what is called a Community Cafe where people just give a donation for a meal, which is open 3 days a week for lunch.

We have a Sunday Program every Sunday and have started a Kirtan group.

If there are any devotees out there who would like to join us in the service of Srila Prabhupada, please contact us and we can discuss further.

My email is suvarna_manjari@rediffmail.com and my husband Buddhimanta Khan das email is buddhi_manta@hotmail.com

We look forward to hearing from you soon!

  1. Congratulations on starting a new preaching program. Being a pioneer is always a little lonely but the rewards make up for the austerity. May Krsna bless your endeavors with pots of gold and man power so that the project can expand without limit. All glories to our beloved Srila Prabhupada.

  2. Hare Krishna. Respects. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! It is wonderful that you are serving Srila Prabhupada with such faith. My wife and I have fed 100 homeless Prasada each month of 6 years now. It has not been easy. We had to stop due to illness, but the service is done for the honor of Srila Prabhupada. We were invited by local government (city of 150,000) last night to speak about our movement in the Mayors chamber. We got a hug from the attorney that chaired the meeting and we have already been invited again to another government gathering. Don't give up. Don't worry about anything. Just do the best you can and leave the rest to Srila PRabhupada and Lord Krishna and you will be successful. Sincerely, Mahatma dasa
